Dancer’s Certificate Examination – Gr 10
Following in her mother’s footsteps, Alison commenced Highland Dancing classes at the age of five and a year later commenced Irish.
Alison has competed successfully at competitions and championships throughout Queensland being placed in the top three in the Queensland Highland Dancing Championships and 5th and 6th respectively in the Queensland State Irish Dancing Championships. Alison has successfully passed all National Dancing Association of Australia Highland, Lesser Known and Jig/Hornpipe Examinations as well as her Elementary, Intermediate and Advanced Teaching Certificates. She has completed her Irish Commission Dancer’s Certificate Examinations to Grade 10.
Alison was part of the OzScot Dancers at the 2004 Edinburgh Military Tattoo and then joined the team that travelled to Oman in 2005.
Currently, Alison is an Auditor with BDO North Queensland and mum to her two sons Johnathan and Aaron.
